NATE

I'll move to Florida
I'll buy a brand new pick up truck
And I'll tint all the windows, including the driver's side

Reference sheet for a brown tabby cat anthro man named Nathan. He is skinny and associated with east coast forest and midwest emo aesthetics.

Nathan is a weird mix between character, fursona, and therianthropy. He is as close to me as possible, until he isn't. If I were a cat, I would be a black mackerel tabby domestic shorthair. But these are funny drawings, so Nathan is a black classic tabby foreign shorthair / OSH. This means he is lankier and has a more pronounced wedge-shaped head and also has thick black markings.

A real life selfie of myself with a real photo of a tabby oriental shorthair cat photoshopped over my face. Every place where my skin would be exposed, I've drawn over it to look like it's my fursona. In the background are the lyrics to Sexy and Alive by The Front Bottoms.

As a character, Nathan is a guy who is probably doomed to work retail forever. He's been trying to start a band, but getting everyone together to practice is impossible. He has a casual on-again off-again girlfriend but they both know it isn't gonna last forever.

Three images to show Nate's regional aesthetic. A pickup truck lined with a blanket. The interior of some building with several tables and a soda machine. The street of a random small southern town.

Nathan resides in a mirror of the real world in the same location I do. He has a strong connection to the Appalachian mountains that have surrounded him for his entire life. There is power and energy in these ancient mountains grinded down into hills. But he knows it isn't the evil horror energy people on TikTok say it is, either, it's something else.

PNG of Nate looking concerned and talking to the camera over a real picture of a small southern town. Nate laying on his back with his feet propped up like he's sitting on a couch upside down. He looks towards the viewer with a serene expression. He holds a needle and syringe above his chest, framed between his legs. Bursts of color come from his head, chest, and the syringe. Digital art of Nathan staring forward Hand-drawn fursona badge of Nate facing forward.

Slowly but surely creating a pack of stickers like any good furry would do.

Two PNGS of Nathan. One is him sticking his tongue out over a pride background. The other is a blurry photo of him in the Jerma pose with red text that says 'Can I say something? Page from a book about oriental tabby cats
